Support to AMEICC Secretariat

The AEM-METI Economic and Industrial Cooperation Committee (AMEICC) was established in November 1998 as an international body under the AEM-METI following its endorsement at the ASEAN-Japan Summit Meeting held in December 1997. AOTS has been supporting the AEMICC Secretariat in AOTS Bangkok Office and its operations such as working groups and surveys for discussion and implementation of ASEAN region’s economic and industrial policy proposed in the AEM-METI.

In addition, AMEICC Secretariat and AOTS has been implementing following projects for industrial human resource development in cooperation with Japanese companies in ASEAN region under FY2015 Supplementary Budget Support Projects based on the contribution of AMEICC, which was made by The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), Japan.
